When Henry and Jude's Michigan grandparents visited last week, Papa Hank gave them a play table he made. Jude helped Papa Hank assemble the table in the boys' play room. Jude had a play drill and copied everything his grandfather was doing. P.S. You'll notice that Jude has Papa Hank's thick viking hands.
I keep forgetting to ask Jason to take pictures of my fat pregnant belly, so the other day I was asked to post pics but no one was around so I did it myself. They didn't come out that great but at least I got the belly. I apologize in advance for the nasty belly button and white stomach. Man, I have a good tan (and its not because I get to lay out everyday, it's from running around outside all day with kids in the heat).
I can't believe that I have a little over a month to go before I have this baby girl. It seemed like time went by really fast in the beginning now it's like time stopped. I'm doing ok, just really exhausted and hot. Jude likes to get up at the crack of dawn (5am) luckily my husband steps up to the plate and gets up with him, but I never really fall back asleep. I'm at the point now that it is so hard to get comfortable laying in bed, this girl sure does like to kick the heck out of me and lean on every organ especially my bladder. I'm also blessed with big swollen ankles and feet. I hope I don't sound too much like a complainer. I am blessed to be able to carry this sweet baby girl in my belly and I would go through and torture to be able to do it.
Now that everyone got a glance of my belly, I am having another guess the weight contest. Cheryl Nelson Priest won Judes and got a really cool prize, right Cheryl?
Just leave a comment with your guess and if you guess right you will win a prize. Please no duplicate guesses. Good luck.
I want to introduce our friend Heather and Chuck's little baby girl also little sister to Henry 2 1/2, Sabine Vianne who was born yesterday June 10, 2010 at 10:11 pm. Weighing 7lbs 13oz and 20 1/4 inches long. Isn't she beautiful. She looks just like her mommy.
We are so happy for you Heather and Chuck. I have a feeling our daughters will grow to be good friends.
p.s. wouldn't be funny if we named our daughter Sabine..... ;)
Jesus, I need to give myself up. I am not strong enough to love you and walk with You on my own.
I can’t do it, I need You. I need You deeply and desperately. I believe You are worth it, that You are better than anything else I could have in this life. I want You. And when I don’t, I want to want You. Be all in me. Take all of me. Have Your way with me.
On Wednesday we spent the day at the beach. It was very windy and not that warm, but the kids managed to go in the water.
We enjoyed my brother Anthony and his wife Lisa and daughter Martina's company.
Jude was in all his glory when I finally took off his clothes and let him run wild. He kept rolling in the sand and high tailing it to the ocean for a drink.
Henry loved walking on the rocks and playing with the sand.
I loved watching those kids play. It always makes me content when my kids have a huge smile on their faces.
It was a smokey day in the city yesterday. The forest fires that are happening in Quebec Canada is so bad that the smoke has traveled all the way into Boston, but that didn't ruin our monday.
We had a picnic, walked several miles, the boys enjoyed the Christian Science fountain and ate some ice cream. Good times were had by all.
