The dreaded cold season

For the past week the boys have been so sick with colds. On tuesday morning, I had to take Jude to the ER because he was struggling to breathe. Our poor little JuJubee. They gave him breathing treatments and a nebulizer and it seemed to help. Wednesday morning he was really bad so I brought him to the doctors office. They gave him a shot of prednizone and another neb, we wanted to avoid to admit him to the hospital. The prednizone really worked. He has to take it for the next 5 days and continue with his breathing treatments for a couple more days. He is much much better today. Back to his normal self..... playing, whining, struggling to get away when I change his diaper, and lots of raspberries! Henry just has a bad runny nose and cough. Got to love the snot strip on his sleeve!

Gymnastics

A couple weeks ago Henry started his gymnastics class. He cracks me up. He always has to be the first one in line, the leader, and the teachers pet. It is so much fun watching him. Hope to have better pictures next week.

girls girls girls

A couple weeks ago, my two nieces Kerrin and Maggie spent the day and night hanging out and helping me with the boys. It was refreshing having a couple girls around.
We made homemade pizzas, ate DQ ice cream, painted our nails, watched movies, and ate lots of junk food. The girls were a great help.

Child Proof

In the car on the way home from the doctor's office.

Jude crawls now so we need to child-proof the place. We waited too long to do it. He crawled into our hallway where we had a glass candle holder, which he tipped over. The shattered glass cut into his left hand pretty good. He cried and cried and blood was everywhere. I wanted to freak out but tried to stay calm. My mom came over and we took him to the doctor's office. The don't give infants stitches. Instead they use glue. Poor kid was so sad. So was Henry. On the way back from the doctor's office Jude returned to normal and chewed his bloody bandage into disrepair.

Where a kid can be a kid

Last week, while Jason was on vacation, we took the boys to Chuck.E.Cheese. Henry had a blast. He ate pizza and played lots of games. Jude mainly liked eating the pizza.
